The role of a sports trader involves managing and trading multiple sports betting markets in a fast-paced and changing environment, adapting to real-time events to provide more engaging and competitive entertainment for our customers. Additionally, traders try to ensure that our offerings are innovative as well as industry leading.
Following on from the above, traders are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Sportsbook features offered.

For the VBET Trading department and Sports Product teams, the most important knowledge is about the Sportsbook product with all its functionality and tools.
This includes managing game removals and monitoring events available for live betting (i.e., bets placed within the Live Events subsection).
Pre-Match Betting - In pre-match betting, the player has to place his bet before the event starts, and after it starts, the bets are saved in the gaming account and wait for the event to happen / bet settlement.
Live Betting - Some bookmakers call this In-Game / In-Play betting. These bets are placed on an event that is in progress at the time the bet is placed. While pre-match betting is done before the event starts, live betting is done while the match is in progress.
As part of the Sportsbook Product team, in the general department, task and incident management is carried out by the head of the management department and Senior Level or Trading Managers via Jira boards.
The main functions of the VBET Trading department are:
Sportsbook management according to regional restrictions, namely:

2) Display of famous championships and games on websites
3) Management of sports events on the site due to regional restrictions

- Sportsbook request / task and incident management
- Relevant market research and analysis
- Checking bets, detecting wrong odds, correcting odds
- Settling, fixing, or freezing bets (for further investigation); handling voided bets, bets accepted with incorrect odds, and late bets
- Management of odds margins (the difference between them).

France Trading Team:
The team has a Trading Manager, 2 Shift Leads and a staff of 6, consisting of Middle and Junior specialists. - Shift Lead - replaces Trading Managers in the evening hours and on non-working days / days off, monitors the proper performance of duties by the staff.
- Trader - live & prematch bet checking (if errors or risky bets are found, transfer to risk managers), correction of odds, management of Sportsbook features (e.g. checking and responding to Superbet feature requests from customers), responding to business chats, etc.
